about
sloppydisq is a channel about making things with playful systems: games, tools, audio, language — whatever skill the étude demands. the premise: making things is functionally easy now; making them good is the art. the channel studies the gap, in public.
two rules
the honesty rule. if it says the agent did it, the agent actually did it. real telemetry, labeled time, receipts underneath. AI is used here, transparently — the disciplines that keep an AI pair honest are the same ones that keep any codebase honest.
CC0. everything here that's mine to give is public domain. take it, remix it, no credit needed (though it's always appreciated).
who
glenn — software engineer in belgium. i build harnesses that let AI agents genuinely play games (Factorio, Kerbal Space Program, Dwarf Fortress, and five more), and i make small weird games and tools of my own. longer-form writing lives at qry.zone; code at github.com/QRY91.
show, don't tell
there's too much to say, and i lack the words. they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
you're looking at about 30 pictures per second right now. so that's, what, 30k words/second, about 1,800,000 words/minute?
yeah okay, there's no way i could simply tell you, not at that pace. so how about i show you, instead?
